Judy has been a RN for over 40 years, working primarily in labor and delivery, education and management. She received her training at the Hospital University of Pennsylvania, her BSN from La Salle University and a Master’s degree in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University.
She is also certified in Inpatient Obstetrical Nursing and Electronic Fetal Monitoring. Judy has worked as a staff nurse, assistant head nurse, educator, and Director of Obstetrical and Neonatal services. She has also taught many classes and has special training in perinatal bereavement, helping families get through the grieving process after the loss of a baby. She facilitated a bereavement support group for parents experiencing the loss of a baby.
Judy has served on many committees and been active in various organizations such as Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies. She is a prior member of PLIDA (Pregnancy Loss & Infant Death Alliance) and AWHONN (Association of Women’s Health Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses).
